When you don't have a tape dispenser or gun, you can still cut clear tape easily with a few simple steps:

1. Tear off a length of tape slightly longer than you need and press it onto a flat surface with the sticky side up.
2. Hold the end of the tape between your thumb and forefinger and pull the tape up and away from the surface at a slight angle.
3. Use sharp scissors to cut the tape where you need it.
4. Make a clean, straight cut across the tape to avoid jagged edges.
5. Carefully lift the cut piece of tape off the surface and apply it to your desired location, smoothing out any wrinkles or bubbles as you go.
